Amimah Passes Entrance Exam after 6 Months of Coaching!

Step-by-step Maths Tuition has helped Rmesha become much more confident in School!

Rmesha is in year five and we felt she needed to improve her maths and so sent her to A Star Tutoring.  Step-by-step the maths tutor explained the subject and she gained a real understanding of what was being asked, this has also made her much more confident in class. Twins Excel in their Boarding School Entrance Exam!

We have twin boys, Alonso and Mauricio, but both needed to improve their written and verbal reasoning in order to pass the entrance exam for Denstone Boarding School so we decided to send them to A Star Tutoring and it was the best decision we’ve made.  They loved every minute of it and it also provided some great learning techniques. Targeted Homework Has Helped James Achieve Great Results

The communication skills of the tutors at A Star tutoring are fantastic, as they are able to explain things in a professional yet comprehensive way to my son James, who is studying Maths and Science. The tutors set specific homework and revise relevant areas so that James really gets an in depth understanding of the subjects. After 6 Months Training by A Star Haydon Has Improved Confidence For His Exam

 When Haydon started A Star he was struggling to understand both verbal and non-verbal reasoning, key skills which he needed to pass the 11+ entrance exams.I thought that after a long day at school, Haydon would hate the idea of doing yet more work, I was wrong, Haydon loves coming to A Star and is so eager to attend even after a long day at school. I am very surprised that he is enjoying learning so much and is always so eager to learn. His tutor has really helped him on his verbal and non-verbal reasoning and Haydon’s confidence has suddenly improved. James’s Parents over the Moon!

We Expected a “C” but our Son got an “A”

Thomas wants to be a doctor but whilst he was ok with the science subjects, he wasn’t performing as well in English, so I sent him to A Star Tutoring and the transformation is amazing. Very, very quickly we have seen a massive improvement, and he used to dread English classes but now really enjoys it. Jessica is 12 years old and prior to going to A Star Tutoring was just interested in finishing her homework as fast as possible and I felt she wasn’t really getting a proper understanding of the subjects. Before we sent our son to A-Star Tutoring, he was always at the lower end of the scale on both maths and English, getting around 30% but since he started at A-Star Tutoring he has escalated, and is at the top end, consistently getting around 80% for these subjects. Ben’s confidence has always been quite low and although he was clearly bright, when it came to answering questions in the classroom, he found it a real struggle because of his natural tendency to withdraw. Louisa is very keen to get into a particular high school which has an excellent reputation and where there is an entrance exam for all pupils, so for the last two months Louisa has been attending A-Star Tutoring in order to help prepare her for this exam.
