A bit about us

As you know, teaching standards in state schools are not the best. And these are not getting any better.

Being from teaching backgrounds, we have personal experience of the frustration of pupils and parents alike who aim high and wish to go beyond the national curriculum.

With this in mind, A Star Tutoring was formed. From humble beginnings, we have now moved to state of the art, purpose built premises with no expenses spared.

Because we believe that whatever else we compromise on we cannot and must not compromise on our children’s education.

Of course, for this to be successful, the students play their part by completing set homework and ongoing assessments.

The Learning Environment

We have invested heavily in a state of the art learning environment after carefully planned research. Using correct colour coordination and precise layout has meant that the environs are conducive to learning whilst at the same time giving a safe and homely feel. Research conducted by various universities suggests that students react to their surroundings positively or negatively, depending on the colours around them. Certain colour schemes invigorate the mind and produce for an attentive learner and these have been used to get the best out of all students.
